The Max-Planck-Institut für Züchtungsforschung runs a "Schaugarten", i.e. a demonstration field for cultivated plants to provide an overview over breeds and cultivars amenable for genetic improvement. In order to display this collection not only to visitors of our institute but also to "virtual" visitors over the Internet we provide this page with informations and pictures of the cultivated plants.
